1. Zero Data Collection
Vericast is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, media files, or camera streams from your device. All processing, including hardware-level injection, occurs locally on your device.
2. Anonymous Licensing
Our licensing system utilizes crypto to ensure transaction anonymity. We do not require names, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) to generate or activate your Vericast license.
3. Local Media Storage
Any media files (MP4, etc.) you select for injection remain on your device's local storage. Vericast does not upload your files to any external servers. The "Media Library" within the app is a local file browser only.
4. Permissions
Vericast requires specific system permissions to function, including:
- Root Access (Required for HAL-level injection)
- Storage access (to load media files)
- Camera service access (to bridge the virtual feed)
5. Third-Party Apps
While Vericast bridges media to other applications, we have no control over the privacy policies of those third-party apps. Users should review the privacy policies of any application they use with the Vericast bridge.
